The Business Development Representative will be responsible for calling on nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent-living communities and group homes in their assigned territory and representing our Long Term Care Pharmacies.
The Representative will also develop and execute the strategic market plan to achieve the business objectives and budget expectations for the sales territory.
Responsibilities:
Working with our existing staff and identifying market leads and targeted accounts Initiating sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements Foster relationships with new and existing referral sources in a specific geographic area Ability to work with pharmacy staff to meet the sales goals and take care of referral sources/customers Ability to use CRM, manage emails, text and cell phone calls Follow through with referral sources Ability to explore new opportunities for NuCara business General understanding of costs and pricing to our facilities and customers Offer clinical in-services to facilities/agencies Close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services Skills/Abilities/Requirements:
Ability to travel May require late evening work to set up new facilities on service May be required to provide in-services to facilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Prior experience with marketing and/or sales in a medical or healthcare field preferred Valid driver's license Great team player with ability to work independently Ability to multitask Self-driven, self-motivated and disciplined Full-time positions offer competitive wages and a benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO.
