Our Direct Support Supervisors guide a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to live their fullest lives.
What you do as Supervisor:
Coach, develop and train a team of DSPs and team leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members, staff, stakeholders, DHS and managed care organizations Oversee all programs and services within assigned region Participate on key projects and strategic initiatives Manage to stated objectives / targets and work independently Promote a fair, firm and consistent approach in alignment with corporate policies / procedures Ensure regional performance meets / exceeds stated KPI's Exercise discretion, sound judgment and authority with decision making Compose member care plans and facilitate periodic reviews with DHS Ensure strong workforce management controls for employee schedules and member coverage Identify, evaluate and pursue new growth opportunities / referrals Remain alert to personnel problems and recommend solutions timely Complete performance evaluations, timesheet approval and leave request approvals Represent Crest Services and region at various community involvement / volunteer activities Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met (e.
g.
HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, Iowa Code), and any issues are reported as appropriate What we provide:

Be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Proof of insurance and valid IA driver's license Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.
) Strong organization, time management and attention to detail 2
years of experience as a formal team lead or supervisor/manager with leadership responsibility of non-exempt staff Proven experience participating on key projects and initiatives.
Proven track record for decisive action Ability to maintain a friendly, upbeat, motivated attitude with a positive and professional presence and partner with all levels of the company to achieve results Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced and at times stressful and continuously changing environment Bonus if you have:
