Cedar Valley Community Support Services is URGENTLY hiring for 1-2 Day HAB, Direct Care Professional.
Day-HAB staff assist the daily operation and management of the Day-HAB program.
They ensure members needs are met and assist the member with development and maintenance of skills in the areas of intellectual functioning, physical and emotional health and development, language and communication development, cognitive functioning, socialization and community integration, functional skill development, behavior management, responsibility and self-direction, daily living activities, self-advocacy skills and / or mobility.
Day HAB staff are responsible for assisting in developing an activities calendar on a monthly basis that will consist of activities that coincide with members' goals.
Day HAB groups are Monday through Friday and transportation is the responsibility of staff.
There are typically two groups/day and the agency provides for 10 passenger vans for member pick up and participation.
