POSITION GOAL This position is responsible for working with clients in need of assistance with housing resources in HACAP service area and working with HACAPs tenants in Linn and Benton County.
This position is responsible for answering phone calls for housing and homeless services, making appropriate community referrals, completing intakes, supporting HACAPs Linn County Property Manager, and assisting with other seasonal HACAP programs as needed.

50 per hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Answer telephone and online inquiries to provide accurate program information and/or route to the appropriate person.
- Greet visitors/clients, providing information on agency programs or external resources at HACAPs Inn Circle office.
- Collect rent payments, deposits, and track appropriately for Linn County housing tenants.
- Input data from housing applications and basic intake forms and update data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with maintaining agency customer/client database.
- Scan files into database, process/route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, tenant leases, and tenant postings.
- File leases, notices, labels, tenant receipts, checks, applications, and other records as necessary.
- Provide other general administrative support for Housing Department, handling Incoming calls and faxes.
- Answer requests for maintenance repair from housing tenants and enter into maintenance database for repair.
- Support and collaborate with the HACAP Linn County Property Manager and Housing Operations Manager as needed - Assist the Housing Stabilization department for seasonal activities including LiHeap, rental assistance processing, and other energy programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or GED - AA in business administration or one (1) year of experience in Human Services preferred.
- Work experience to demonstrate:

Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and standard software such as:
word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
