Summary:
The Operations Manager performs a critical oversight function by monitoring operations throughout the team and looking for ways to increase productivity and lower costs.
Reports to Director of OperationsSupervisory
Responsibilities:
Hire and train staff.
Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Prepare preliminary incident reports; report injuries/accidents Safety Manager for immediate processing.
Ensure workers obey all safety regulations; communicate safety procedures to employees; offer safety training per management requirements, customer requirements, or new-hire guidelines.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
oThis position is responsible for the schedules, work, and approvals of assigned Field Services projects in coordination with Project Managers and the other Operations Managers.
oDetermine the priorities for assigned work to be done in the field/on CSS site.
oReview project scopes of work with the Projects team.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within the scope and budget.
oDevelop a detailed project plan to track progress and profitability.
oCollaborate with the Estimating and Project Management departments put together detailed BOM's and quote upcoming opportunities.
oHave detailed pre-deployment meetings with project Foreman.
Pre-deployment meetings need to be accompanied with hard copies of SOW, CD's, JHA and any before pictures you can share with the Foreman.
oEvaluate the success of the project against its P&L when project is completed.
Have a project closeout with Project Manager to discuss successes and downfalls of each project.
Have Close Out Packages sent to customers as required.
oCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation using Pathwave, Teams, and NetSuite.
oWork with the Project Foreman in the field to ensure quality of work is up to CSS standards.
oDevelop training procedures for current techs and new hires.
Include Safety Training from Safety Manager such as toolbox talks on a weekly basis.
oFacilitate mentoring and training of apprentices in the ABC Apprentice Program as necessary.
Provide input on the selection of candidates for the apprenticeship program.
oMonitor field employees' day-to-day time on each project and sign off timecards in Paylocity.
Enter Per Diem notes as needed.
oWork with Inventory Manager to utilize in-stock materials and order additional materials if needed to be ready ahead of project start.
Look at opportunities to stock or order materials in bulk on high volume materials.
oHold teams accountable for keeping all materials that return from jobs organized and in the designated location.
All materials should be put away and stored in open containers and on shelves.
oMaintain professionalism from office to field.
Required Skills/Abilities:
oExcellent organizational skills are a must, including the ability to prioritize tasks.
oThe ability to work in a quick changing, fast-paced environment.
oMust be able to use Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Office 365.
oMust be proactive in problem-solving and be able to take direction.
oMust be professional with verbal and written communication.
oProject Management experience on projects of $500,000 or greater is preferred.
oPrevious Operations Leadership and supervisory experience.
oExperience vetting and approving subcontractors is necessary.
Requirements 50% travel required Master License preferred; Journeyman License required Recommended Skills Coaching And Mentoring Communication Coordinating Leadership Microsoft Office Netsuite Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
