The Physicians Clinic of Iowa Lab is seeking one full time or two part time (24 hours per week) Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team!These individuals primary function will be to perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and some clerical functions.
Attention to detail required.
Must have excellent work ethic and customer service skills and must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask is key to being successful in this role.
Shift will rotate weekly between the hours 6:
00 AM and 5:
00PM.
The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.
The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills, and must work well with team members.
Must also have a high level of comfort and become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system.
Prefer an individual with 2-3 years similar experience with an emphasis on performing phlebotomies preferred.
