Primary Duties Listen to each patient's concern(s), story, and where they are experiencing pain Educate patients in how to improve their health and obtain necessary equipment Possess strong cross-cultural skills Call patients with lab/x-ray results Provide patients follow-up care and direction via phone Serve as a guide to our volunteer nurses Utilize interpreters, in-person and via video, to communicate with non-English speaking patients Assist providers with procedures and communication in exam rooms Provide medication room coverage as needed Create and maintain patient records within charting program Triage patients on the phone as necessary Ensure providers are equipped with appropriate supplies Fill the gap with an air of humility as Christ demonstrated while here on earth Qualifications Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith and Statement of Values Possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible Be respectful of the God-given dignity of all persons Have an active and current unrestricted Iowa registered nursing license Be flexible with daily responsibilities Physical Requirements Stoop, kneel, crouch and reach overhead Maneuver throughout the clinic Be on your feet for long periods of time - up to 4,000 steps per shift Lift 25 pounds Benefits PTO:
