This individual will work in our busy office and will serve in a variety of functions including reception and back-up registration.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Answer phones and assist patients/referring physicians in scheduling appointments and registration Maintain a knowledge of multiple insurance plans and collections of co-pays; co-insurances Assist patients with check out/route as necessary for additional services.
Performing other basic administrative duties Leading candidates will have experience in a medical office performing similar functions and be team oriented.
Ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with health insurance.
Must also have a high level of comfort and become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system.
The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times and maintain patient confidentiality.
The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills, and must work well with team members.
