McGrath Automotive Group is searching for an individual who will assist in writing automotive related website content and blog articles for use in our online network. We need original, optimized copy focused on the vehicle line available through the McGrath Automotive dealerships, as well as news and information pertinent to our customer base. Created pages and blog posts do require custom graphics and video requiring this individual to have entry level graphic design skills and video editing ability.
This is a full time position and is in-office, which is located in Hiawatha, Iowa.
Responsibilities:
- Understand Search Engine Optimization (metatags, page titles, search keywords, link building, etc.)
- Research and develop automotive related content
- Adhere to website quality guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with automotive industry news
Requirements:
- Strong and adaptable writing skills. You should have the ability to write professionally and creatively, while engaging visitors in a down-to-earth, conversational way
- Proficiency in editing and correcting grammatical, typographical or compositional errors
- Familiar with basic search engine optimization philosophies and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- General Photoshop skills (photo cropping & editing)
- General Video Editing skills
- General HTML skills
- Experience working in the Wordpress environment
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience developing web content

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
