Responsibilities:
Successful applicant must be able to assist the engineering research and technology development effort in the areas of design, layout, fabrication, assembly, test, RF troubleshooting, repair, and modification of experimental prototype electronic equipment.
Successful candidate must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be able to provide innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.
Applicant must be able to work well with internal and external customers.
Successful applicant must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or, in absence of a degree, three years of work experience required (required)
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Proficiency with the design, assembly, test, troubleshooting, repair, and modification (at the component/die level) of RF A/D converters and RF/Microwave circuits
Experience using PCB layout tools (AutoCAD, CR5000, or similar) for high frequency RF circuitry
Experience using automated testing software tools such as LabVIEW with the ability to write basic programs
Experience working with optical components, and related devices preferred (preferred)
Experience with Antenna arrays
